TOROCON CONNECTION SYSTEM

TOROCON is a ROV based Connection system delivered to Statoil for the Tordis/Vigdis project.
The system comprises several tools and kits special developed for being handled, installed and operated by ROV’s.
All tools are buoyent in water and will be deployed in a tool basket.
The tools are hydraulic and mechanical operated directly by the ROVs, and do therefor not need need any separate control system.
The individual tools are easy to maintain and to operate, hence the TOROCON system offers increaced flexsibility and competitive operational time compared to more traditional and complicated ’all-in-one’ connection tool systems.
